Deepanjali Tiwari, owner of D. Tiwari Counseling, LLC, knows that beginning therapy can feel like a big step and she is here to meet you with compassion, care, and understanding. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor in New Jersey with experience supporting adults of all ages through anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, women’s issues, substance use recovery, and more.
Her approach is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your unique needs. She believes in building on your strengths and creating space for you to explore what matters most, without judgment. Therapy with Deepanjali is a conversation where you'll work together to uncover patterns that may be holding you back and explore new ways of thinking and being that align with the life you want to create.
Life’s demands can feel heavy, and it’s easy to feel like you’re struggling to keep up, questioning decisions, or carrying a quiet weight of self-doubt, but you don't need to struggle alone. Taking the first step can feel daunting, but you don't have to do this alone. Over time, Deepanjali hopes you’ll leave sessions feeling more connected to yourself with greater confidence in managing challenges and strengthening relationships. Her goal is to help you navigate life’s ups and downs with greater ease and self-compassion. Therapy is your space, and she's here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
She incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Humanistic, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), and Strength-Based approaches into her practice.
