LCSW, LCADC, EMDR Trained
Gabrielle (Gaby) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LCADC), an EMDR Trained Therapist, and owner of Gabrielle Falco, LLC. Gaby has served adolescents, adults, and families in various settings including substance abuse treatment programs, community mental health centers, schools, and private group practice. Gaby has experience with girls empowerment efforts and worked in the reproductive justice field doing national policy work and direct service support for individuals in need of abortion funding.
Equitable healthcare and bodily autonomy continue to be tenets of Gaby's work. Gaby comes from a family of social workers, so service and human connection has always driven her. She practices from a trauma informed, relational perspective that acknowledges how the larger systems of power and oppression shape our relationships and identities.
With a style that is both warm and direct, validating and challenging, as well as playful and creative, Gaby incorporates various modalities to help you explore the past as well as the present so you can get the most out of the future. She'll help you uncover narratives and patterns that are keeping you stuck, and build your coping toolkit so that issues in the day to day are more manageable.
Gaby works with individuals on a range of issues including developmental trauma, substance use, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, identity formation, life transitions, grief, relationship difficulties, anger management, and conflict resolution.
It is Gaby's goal to show up as an actively anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-oppression, LGBTQIA+ affirming, sex-positive, and HAES (healthy at every size) supporting practitioner. She is committed to the ongoing learning this calls for.
